It's not too late to roll on up to Reno for TruckerFest at Hot August Nights, a four-day event that begins today and runs through Sunday at the Petro Stopping Center.
This year you can drive right up and join the 150-plus trucks expected to compete in the Wash and Shine show. On Friday and Saturday night, trucks will parade through downtown Reno as part of the Hot August Nights event, which is expected to draw 400,000-plus visitors to Reno to celebrate America's love affair with cars and rock & roll from the '50s and '60s.
Truckers can also enjoy free steak dinners, a concert, fireworks, trucker games, as well as the chance to compete for cash, trophies and prizes.
