J. J. Keller & Associates will present its Second Annual North American Driver Recruiting & Retention Summit, a two-day program devoted to recruiting and retaining today's truck drivers, April 10-11 in Atlanta.

Industry experts will be on hand to discuss the proven steps needed to battle the cost of truck driver turnover, including information on how to hire the best drivers and how to create a positive culture to keep drivers.
The North American Driver Recruiting & Retention Summit will combine how-to techniques, case studies, and hands-on exercises to demonstrate how this approach to employee retention can be effective in the transportation industry. The summit will take place April 10-11, 2002, at the Marriott Atlanta Northwest, 200 Interstate N. Parkway, in Atlanta, Georgia.
Speakers will share implementation strategies, practical insight and tactics. They will present ideas on how to get employees at all levels in the organization fired up about their company. Then trucking company professionals who've made recruiting adjustments will impart first-hand success stories of how these recruiting and retention strategies have worked in their workplace.
Summit presenters include: Robert Costello, Chief Economist for the American Trucking Associations; David Goodson, President, Class 8 Solutions.; John Carter, President, Carter Advertising; Greg Mechler, Senior Partner, The Human Advantage; Billie Meador Lee, President, DAC Services; Sherry Bass, National Driver Recruiting & Retention Consultant; Brad Penneau, Senior Editor, Keller's Transportation Recruiting & Retention Insights, J. J. Keller & Associates; Stephen LeMay, Professor of Transportation Logistics & Marketing, Mississippi State University; Steve Prelipp, Senior Consultant, The Human Advantage; Louis Capolino, Vice President of Operations, Venezia Transportation, and Ellen Voie, Executive Director, Trucker Buddy International.
A pre-summit workshop, "Transportation Security and Driver Screening," will be offered April 9, also at the Marriott Atlanta Northwest.
