Ray Brothers Transportation, Fresno, Calif., a family-owned truck brokering business started by three young brothers, is celebrating its 45th anniversary.
Ray Brothers Transportation is still a family operated business today. Joseph Ray, one of the original brothers, and his son David Ray currently own the business. Theresa Prandini (Ray) and Matthew Ray also work at the brokerage.
"Honesty, customer satisfaction and determination have always been core values in our business," said Joseph Ray. "Back in Omaha, my brothers and I had lost our parents at a very young age and were taken in by our aunt. She always stressed the importance of honesty and she was certainly an example of determination and hard work. I am 78 years old and still love to get up at 4 a.m. every day and go to work!"
Throughout 45 years of doing business, the brokerage has established and maintained a large customer base of carriers and shippers.
