Time.com, the online sibling of Time Magazine, has named Rand McNally's web site one of the 50 best sites on the Web.

The June edition of Tech Time, the consumer technology special feature section of Time.com, said randmcnally.com was the essential web site for maps and driving directions. The site, randmcnally.com was listed among such leading sites as eBay.com, Google.com, Amazon.com and Weather.com.
The Time.com editors wrote: "Rand McNally online maps are the best around. [The] maps are prettier anyway, and nicely detailed. The turn-by-turn directions are clearly presented, with handy links to weather forecasts for both your start and end points and a list of scheduled road work, searchable by state and road type."
