The Ram 4500/5500 Chassis Cab truck has been named Work Truck magazine’s eighth annual medium-duty truck of the year. The award was presented to Becky Blanchard, director of the Ram Truck brand, by Work Truck's Senior Editor Chris Wolski at a ceremony during the NTEA Work Truck Show.
The Ram 4500/5500 chassis cab was chosen by the readers of Work Truck and Heavy Duty Trucking magazines from a field of 11 trucks. These readers operate more than 100,000 medium-duty trucks.
Voters are asked to evaluate the trucks on which models best fit their fleet requirements, including application effectiveness, durability, quality, servicing, maintenance, and lifecycle costs.
This is the second time the Ram chassis cab has received the award in the past five years.
