Quest Companies Sells computrucks.com
North Carolina-based Quest Companies Inc. has announced the sale of its online subsidiary, computrucks.com to Omaha-based Just4Dealers.com, an online heavy truck auction company
North Carolina-based Quest Companies Inc. has announced the sale of its online subsidiary, computrucks.com to Omaha-based Just4Dealers.com, an online heavy truck auction company.
“At one point, the heavy truck industry represented over 90 percent of our business,” said Quest Companies CEO Robert Donohoe, “but over time our emphasis has shifted more and more to the marketing services sector. While computrucks.com presently receives more traffic than ever before, hosting over 30,000 visitors each month and is top-rated by Google, Lycos and other search engines, it no longer fits with our core business of marketing services.”
Quest Companies has grown to be among the largest marketing services companies in the country, providing nationwide retail coverage for dozens of consumer goods companies.
“The acquisition of computrucks.com, with its 30,000-plus user base, will enable us to open our online heavy truck auctions to owner-operators and other independents, as well as the franchised and independent dealers we currently serve,” said Michael S. Sosnowski, president of Just4Dealers.com.
“Just4Dealers.com is an easy and profitable alternative to trading in used trucks or selling them at a traditional land auction. Computrucks.com was an easy, and logical, fit to their growing company,” says Donohoe. “The combination of the two companies will undoubtedly result in a major market share of used heavy truck sales across the globe.”
