Pressure Systems International (PSI) has presented Great Dane Trailers with its 2006 Customer Excellence Award, citing its part in making the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI, "the most widely used tire inflation system in the world."

Great Dane offers MTIS as an optional automatic tire inflation system spec for its trailers. Because of promotions that began in 2006, MTIS by PSI has garnered more than 20 percent of all new Great Dane trailers produced to date in 2007. Great Dane has put programs in place for its customers that make the MTIS specification on new trailers attractive. Retrofit kits and replacement parts are also offered through branch and dealership network.
