The latest release of Prophesy's ShipperPlus and ShipperTPL software offers load building capabilities integrated with Prophesy's dispatch and accounting software
along with other advances in capability, functionality and flexibility.
Some of these new features include a MS/SQL server version, multi-pick and multi-drop load building, pooling, pallet stacking and cross-docking capabilities as well as improvements in speed and effectiveness of load building algorithms.
"Our logistics products have truly undergone a revolution in functionality," says Prophesy President Edward J. Forman. "The Shipper/Dispatch integration is designed to streamline the load building and shipment processes into one cohesive operation, which will save time and money for an operation of any size."
Another feature of great interest is the ability to easily consolidate orders into shipments. These shipments can then be rated and built into the most efficient and cost-effective multi-stop truckloads, automatically flowing to dispatch for carrier assignment.
The MS/SQL server version of both ShipperPlus and ShipperTPL is designed to accommodate large users who require large databases and the rating and load building of thousands of orders at a time.
Cross-docking, pool points and multi-pick/multi-drop capabilities are all significant enhancements that have been carefully refined through customer input.
