Technology provider Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc has named Daniel Hooper of Nashville, Tenn. to fill the newly created position of Southeast Regional Sales Manager.

Hooper will focus on promotion and service of Prophesy’s TrackerPlus mobile communications solution.
Hooper has been a sales manager for Transportation Safety Technologies, Eaton, Qualcomm, and TrailMobile, Inc. He has more than 15 years experience in the trucking industry and with mobile communications.
Prophesy TrackerPlus is a next-generation tracking system, which allows dispatchers to account for the daily operations of each truck in their fleet automatically. TrackerPlus allows critical trip data collected by Nextel GPS-enabled phones to filter directly into their desktop, allowing users to work with real-time data.
Prophesy also announced plans to establish additional field sales offices throughout the United States during 2005.
