PNV Inc. of Coral Springs, FL, has introduced a driver recruitment service to match drivers with trucking fleets. Called PNV JobFinder, the service is available through America Online and through PNV truckstop kiosks.
According to PNV, JobFinder is free to drivers who can create resumes online and distribute their profiles securely to only the fleets they choose. Drivers can review and compare fleet characteristics such as number of employees, benefits, pay scale, home time, type of freight hauled and more.
Fleets can review select and sort drivers by a variety of criteria such as years of experience, location, level of training, and more. Qualified drivers are matched to fleets and their profiles are automatically forwarded to the fleet via e-mail. Job posting is unlimited allowing fleets to list as many vacancies as they want, while promoting their benefits such as pay scale, home time, etc. Fleets can also search PNV.com's database; using any combination of keywords or parameters including geographic area, job title etc.
Through the recent strategic alliance with America Online, more than 22 million households will now have access to PNV JobFinder. Also, drivers can access the program through PNV's Internet kiosks now deployed at over 200 truck stop locations nationwide with plans for 500 by the end of the year.
PNV was formerly known as Park 'N' View.
