Pilot will soon open a new travel center with full amenities for professional drivers and the motoring public in Morgantown, W. Va., off Interstate 79 at exit 146.
The new, 7,662-square-foot center, at 2309 Smithtown Rd., features three fuel islands and seven diesel islands along with a wide variety of convenience items. The new facility, which will open June 22, features high-speed fuel pumps that provide faster flow so customers can refuel quickly.
In addition to diesel fuel and 46 parking spaces for trucks, professional drivers have access to Pegasus, a CAT scale, laundry services and five automated showers. The Morgantown location also features a dedicated kiosk so professional drivers can get in and out of the store quickly and be on their way.
The Morgantown Pilot Travel Center features a full hot and cold deli with fresh-made salads, double bacon cheeseburgers and Pepperoni sandwiches, handmade Italian pizza as well as an expanded grill area with Oscar Mayer hot dogs, the company said.
As with all other Pilot Flying J locations, the Morgantown travel center honors the new Frequent Fueler Advantage card and continues to honor points accumulated on the Frequent Fueler, RV Real Value Card and Driver Payback cards. Pilot and Flying J merged last year, and both brands are still available on U.S. highways.
The Pilot Travel Center in Monongalia County is the newest addition to the network of more than 550 travel centers and travel plazas in the Pilot Flying J chain, which serves more than 1.3 million customers every day across the U.S. and Canada.
Updated 6/10/2011 to add opening date.
