Phillips Industries has promoted David Phillips to vice president of new business development and added Dennis Damman as national fleet sales manager.
Dave Phillips has worked for Phillips Industries for 16 years in positions of increasing responsibility, including operations, purchasing and sales. before this promotion, he was general manager of the Commercial Vehicle Products Division, where he led the adoption of the company’s LEAN manufacturing system.
In his new role, Dave will be working closely with executive management, OEM and aftermarket sales, marketing and operations to develop new customers and markets and to expand the company’s market share in North America.
Damman joined Phillips following a 20-year career in the commercial vehicle industry that includes senior executive positions at a major fleet and a chassis OEM.
He was director of engineering at Schneider National for 20+ years and most recently spent five years as vice president of engineering and operations for Direct Chassis Inc.
Damman is a recognized contributor to the Technology and Maintenance Council of ATA and brings a strong engineering background to his new role with Phillips.
