PHH Arval has announced a strategic partnership with the Center for Transportation Safety (CTS), a leading provider of risk management and training solutions for drivers. The CTS program covers vehicles
of all sizes, including cars and light trucks, delivery vehicles, straight trucks, tractor-trailers, specialty tractor-trailers, and forklifts.
The training provided by CTS - including simulator, classroom, behind-the-wheel and mobile training - will become part of PHH Collision Prevention, a risk and safety program designed to reduce accident rates by as much as 40 percent.
CTS' training, including its simulators, can be accomplished at the client's site, a field location or one of CTS' sites.
PHH Collision Prevention proactively identifies drivers who are most at risk of being involved in a vehicle crash. The program offers targeted online training for these drivers to prevent accidents from happening.
According to Lynn Berberich, PHH Arval vice president of Product Management, "Our partnership with the Center for Transportation Safety is designed to enhance the training component customized to each client and add more counter-measures for the most at-risk drivers. CTS also provides training for new hires and employees who have been assigned company vehicles for the first time - a key to developing a crash-free culture. In addition, it further expands our training capabilities into the truck arena, including drivers responsible for heavy trucks, tractor-trailers and equipment. CTS has achieved positive results for clients in recruiting and training CDL drivers."
