Petro Stopping Centers announced the opening of a new travel plaza in Spokane, Wash. on I-90 at Exit 272. The new site gives Petro a total of 66 locations in its nationwide network and it will be the first
in the state of Washington.
"As we looked to expand our network it was critical that we established a presence in the Pacific Northwest," said Petro Stopping Center President, Jim Cardwell. "Spokane presented us with an opportunity to construct a high-quality facility from the ground up. It will become a true destination stopping center for motorists driving the western stretches of Interstate 90."
The full-service travel plaza offers 10 truck fueling lanes, Exxon branded gasoline and RV fueling. The site has parking for 200 trucks and offers professional driver amenities such as 11 private showers, laundry facilities, a video arcade and a television lounge. Dining options include a full-service Iron Skillet Restaurant, a Subway sandwich shop, and a wide variety of hot and cold snacks in the Travel Store. The complex also includes a five bay Petro:Lube Truck Service Center for preventative maintenance, tire sales and service, and emergency repair.
