Peterbilt Motors Co. announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky. this week that it is offering several new promotions to help customers offset record-high diesel fuel prices
and bring greater value to their new truck purchase.
"Peterbilt is committed to finding ways of helping customers stay productive and profitable through all market conditions," says Dan Sobic, Peterbilt assistant general manager. "These new promotions will help customers purchase a new Peterbilt and continue their established buy-cycle patterns by helping offset increased fuel prices and other operating expenses, maximizing uptime and reducing the initial investment for vehicle acquisition."
For a limited time, customers purchasing select 2003 Class 8 vehicles from dealer inventory will receive a $500 fuel credit and can choose one of the following incentives:
-- Complimentary TruckCare Preventive Maintenance for two years or 200,000 miles
-- $2,500 toward a vehicle down payment when financing through Paccar Financial
-- $2,500 cash rebate when financing through Paccar Financial
-- Complimentary Basic Vehicle Extended Warranty
"Peterbilt’s new promotions are designed to help take some of the sting out of diesel fuel prices, as well as provide customers purchasing a new vehicle more options for maximizing their investment," Sobic says. "Whether a customer selects greater peace of mind with a complimentary extended warranty or TruckCare Preventive Maintenance agreement, or less out-of-pocket expense on the vehicle purchase, these promotions will help them reduce operating expenses and increase profitability."
Peterbilt Motors Co., a division of Paccar Inc., manufactures trucks and offers a broad range of services for the over-the-road, construction, municipal and medium-duty markets.
