Peterbilt honored its 2009 North American Dealer of the Year and Medium Duty Dealer of the Year at the Peterbilt Annual Dealer Meeting recently.

Glenn Larson, dealer principal at Peterbilt of Springfield, earned the honor of Dealer of the Year for outstanding performance results in key areas such as heavy- and medium-duty market share, parts and service sales and customer service. The dealership also offers financing through Paccar Financial and leasing through PacLease. The dealership is open 24 hours per day, seven days a week in order to exceed the expectations of their customers.

"Glenn Larson continues to exemplify the qualities that it takes to run a highly successful dealership," said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president. "Over the years, Glenn has been a tremendous partner in his support of Peterbilt and the entire Paccar lineup of products including PacLease and Paccar Financial."

The Larson Group operates seven exclusive Peterbilt dealerships with locations that service Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri. The Springfield location also won a Best in Class award for 2008 and is a nine-time Peterbilt Platinum Oval award winner for their excellent performance in the Peterbilt Standards of Excellence program.

David Climie, Dealer Principal of Peterbilt Ontario Truck Centres in London, Ontario, was awarded Peterbilt Motor Company's 2009 Medium Duty Truck Dealer of the Year recognition.

Peterbilt Ontario has seen a gain in market share and increased sales in the province of Ontario. Their success can be attributed to their excellent knowledge of the medium-duty product, marketing expertise and exceptional customer service.

"Peterbilt Ontario Truck Centres has done an exemplary job of representing Peterbilt's medium-duty line of trucks," said Jackson. "The London team has been very successful in selling and supporting the entire medium-duty product line to a full range of applications such as utility, pick-up and delivery, and towing and recovery."

Peterbilt Ontario Truck Centres operates 10 locations throughout Ontario.

Peterbilt also honored Don and Terry Pasiuk, dealer principals of Peterbilt Pacific Abbotsford, British Columbia, with the Truck Care Dealer of the Year for 2009. The Red Oval Dealer of the Year award went to W. M. "Rusty" Rush, president and CEO of Rush Enterprises and dealer principal of Rush Truck Center in Phoenix. Twenty-four dealers earned Platinum Oval Awards.
