New options of Peterbilt Red Oval TruckCare Preventive Maintenance programs are now available for pre-owned truck customers, according to Peterbilt Motors Co.
The new options expand contracted preventive maintenance programs to include pre-owned vehicles equipped with Caterpillar C-10 and C-12 engines, and Cummins ISX and ISM engines. Engines already included in the Red Oval TruckCare Preventive Maintenance program are the Caterpillar 3406, C-15 and C-16; the Cummins N14; and the Detroit Diesel Series 60.
"The new options will help bring the benefits of managed maintenance to a wider range of used truck owners," says Craig Kendall, Peterbilt Red Oval sales manager. "TruckCare Preventive Maintenance programs are a proven way to help customers anticipate and budget their service requirements, while helping ensure their vehicles deliver maximum performance, efficiency and uptime."
Kendall says PM programs, available through Peterbilt dealerships, include 75-point inspections and lube, oil and wet filter changes. Customers can choose from four scheduled services or six scheduled services in a 12-month period. He adds that TruckCare programs can be custom tailored to meet individual needs.
