Peterbilt Motors Company has delivered the first vehicle equipped with the EPA 2010-certified Paccar MX engine to McClymonds Supply & Transit C

. The company celebrated at the Peterbilt facility in Denton, Texas.
"Our company has run millions of miles with Peterbilts and we are extremely happy to be the first customer to receive a Paccar engine specifically optimized for power, fuel efficiency, quality and overall performance," said Mark McClymonds, president of McClymonds Supply & Transit Co.
The Paccar MX is available in Peterbilt Models 587, 388, 386, 384, 367 and 365. The MX engine has a horsepower range of 380 to 485 horsepower and torque outputs up to 1,750 pounds-feet with a displacement of 12.9 liters.
Peterbilt and all Paccar dealerships have certified Paccar MX trained technicians and a complete inventory of service parts in-stock. More than 670 authorized service locations across North America are certified in the latest technologies and diagnostic tools to service and support Paccar engines.
