.
"Our service network is all about making it easy for our customers to keep their fleets operationally efficient by enabling them to coordinate on-demand service work on PeopleNet units," said Tim Petersen, director of technical operations. "Now they can schedule service at any of our 34 (and growing) reliable service centers across North America instead of having to wait until they return to their terminal or usual service center."
While the service network will be available to all PeopleNet customers, those that join the PeopleNet Service Program for a monthly fee per truck will have their PeopleNet repair labor costs covered. In addition, Service Program members will receive a 5 percent discount on installation and removal charges as well as priority appointments-within 48 hours for shop visits and within 72 hours for on-site visits.
