Penske Truck Leasing recently opened three new facilities, in West Haven, Conn., Elk Grove, Ill., and Cranston, R.I.


The West Haven location is on 8 acres, employs 14 associates and maintains more than 250 vehicles on-site, servicing nearly 50 customers. The one-story building features three service bays, a truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps.

The 7.5-acre Elk Grove location will employ 60 associates and maintain more than 1,200 vehicles on-site, while servicing nearly 180 customers. The building features five service bays, an automated truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island.

The 8.5-acre Cranston location employs 38 associates and maintains more than 650 vehicles on-site, while servicing nearly 125 customers. The building features four service bays, a truck washing bay and a three-lane fuel island.

A wireless technology component at all three locations allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicles diagnostic and repair software. To save energy, GE fluorescent light bulbs with electronic ballasts using 50 percent less energy have been installed.
