Penske Truck Leasing has opened its 17th truck collision repair center, in Annapolis Junction, Md.
The center does collision, box and trailer repairs, complete vehicle refinishing, and frame and alignment work for commercial trucks and vehicles. Penske expects to hire six technicians and three administrative people.
The 15,500-square-foot building is housed on 5.2 acres and has light fixtures that reduce energy use by 50%. The structure contains a high-efficiency paint spray booth that greatly filters emissions. The booth, housing a high-tech air filtration system, minimizes energy and fuel consumption.
"Prior to opening this Annapolis Junction collision repair center, Penske vehicles, and our customer's vehicles, were being serviced from our repair centers in Pennsylvania and North Carolina," says Jack Gallagher, senior vice president, northeast region. "Now, we are in the perfect position to attain new business in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., areas."
The collision repair center is located at 8820 Corridor Road
and is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
