A rear bench passenger seat has been added as a factory option for Freightliner’s Business Class M2 106, 106V, 112 and 112V truck models that are equipped with an extended cab.

The full-width rear bench seat is a factory-installed option that comes with the same durable vinyl upholstery and styling as the two front seats, complementing the overall interior package of the cab. The seat features three lap belts and two shoulder restraints, and accommodates up to three passengers, boosting the truck's passenger capacity to seat a total of five.
"With the addition of the new rear bench seat, the Extended Cab M2s now have more room to handle passengers than ever before," said Mark Lampert, senior vice president, sales & marketing, Freightliner Trucks. "The new bench seat allows more crew members to get to and from job sites or for towing companies to transport extra passengers during and after recovery operations."
