PacLease unveiled a new web site which was designed for viewing and access on a mobile device. The company wanted to ensure that the website was optimized for mobile and intuitive to use on smaller screens.
More than 40% of traffic on the previous website was accessed with a mobile device. This led PacLease to emphasize mobile when the company redesigned its website.

“The site can detect when visitors use desktop computers, smartphones or tablets for access,” said Michelle Harry, PACCAR Leasing’s director of marketing. “The site then automatically displays the pages optimized for the browser and device being used.”
The website provides full information on PacLease’s leasing, rental and contract maintenance programs. The company offers medium and heavy duty Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks through its franchise network consisting of more than 500 locations in North America.
The site also offers a franchise locator allowing customers to find the nearest PacLease location. Directions will then be displayed and on mobile devices, the website can identify current location for ease of use.
