Paccar Leasing Company (PacLease) continues its Canadian franchise network expansion with the addition of a new full-service lease location in Moncton, New Brunswick.
The new PacLease location is operated by Bayview PacLease.

"We're pleased to be adding this new location to our expanding service network in Canada," said PacLease President Bob Southern. "This new location will help us meet that demand and expand PacLease's industry-leading customer service in New Brunswick."

Bill Ervin, vice-president of sales and leasing for Bayview PacLease, said because Moncton lies at the crossroads of the Atlantic provinces, its economy benefits from all of the activities that happen throughout the region. With mineral exploration and mining playing a significant role in the New Brunswick economy, strong market conditions for metals, fertilizers and energy have helped the economy continue to expand.

There's also been a lot of construction activity in both the residential and commercial sectors, Ervin said.

"We expect demand for full-service leasing through PacLease will be strong, particularly since we can offer quality Kenworth trucks custom spec'd with the equipment that can help customers run more efficiently in a variety of applications, including line haul, construction, and pick-up and delivery," Ervin said. "We think full-service leasing will be the way of the future for many local companies since they won't have to worry about truck maintenance, which is becoming more and more complex with new technologies being introduced.

"We're also seeing interest from local governments that like the idea of being able to lease custom-spec'd trucks with the latest emission reduction technologies without the worry of dealing with their maintenance," he added.

The new Canadian location is: Bayview PacLease, 235 Commerce Street, Moncton, New Brunswick E1H 2G1, (506) 862-0953.
