Pacific Power Products Company has completed the acquisition of Witham Truck Center of Medford, Ore. and has assumed daily operations of the Freightliner truck dealership and truck stop under its new name Pacific Truck Centers.
"We are pleased to add this Freightliner dealership to our truck sales and service portfolio," says Mark Dawkins, president of Pacific Power Products. "The on-highway and vocational truck business is one of the fastest growing segments of our company. This strategic location on the north-south freight corridor strengthens our sales and service capabilities in southern Oregon and extends our ability to serve fleets across the Northwest."
The Pacific Truck Centers Medford location will offer a complete line of products and services to the truck, bus and RV market including new and used vehicle sales, scheduled maintenance and repairs, diagnostics and troubleshooting, engine, transmission and chassis service and repair, and a fully-stocked parts department.
National brands represented include Freightliner, Sterling, Autocar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Mercedes engines, Allison and Eaton transmissions, and the Alliance brand of all make heavy-duty parts.
As part of the deal, Pacific relocated its existing Medford branch to the larger Freightliner dealership and truck stop campus. Medford branch manager John Edwards will oversee daily operations of the combined venture. Over 30 family-wage jobs were retained through the acquisition.
