On Time Media is gearing up for its Expedite Expo 2009, which will take place at the Robert Convention Centre in Wilmington, Ohio, July 24-25.
This year's event will include appearances by Ryno and Rob from CMT's "Trick My Truck," as well as the Old Time Trucks Pavilion, a new exhibit.
"We have over 100 exhibits and in our Career Zone, we have the top expedite carriers represented," said Lawrence McCord, show manager of the Expo. "Whether an attendee is looking to begin his/her expedited career or is looking for a new carrier, we have the best companies here, all in one place, at one time."
The Career Zone will feature a roster of expedited trucking recruiters who will share the opportunities for owner-operators and drivers at their companies. The Expo's workshops will focus on the business of expedited trucking, including seminars on buying a truck and performing maintenance.
Other events at the Expo include the Beautiful Trucks exhibit and the Old Time Trucks Pavilion, where attendees can view classic trucks. Attendees will also have the chance to win $1,000 by voting for their favorite truck exhibited in the Commercial Insurance Solutions Expedite Drivers' Choice Award.
The Expo will also feature music from Joey Holiday, Ridge Runner and Pure Grain. Radio personality Dave Nemo will broadcasting on Sirius XM's Road Dog channel live from the Expo.
