OOIDA Members Can Get KW Rebate
The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Assn. has negotiated a $1,000 factory rebate for members who buy a new Kenworth

The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Assn. has negotiated a $1,000 factory rebate for members who buy a new Kenworth.
The offer is available on new Kenworths custom ordered from the factory or bought from dealer stock between July 1, 2001, and June 30, 2002. Delivery must take place between July 1, 2001, and July 31, 2002.
The new trucks qualifying for the rebate are the W900L, T600, T800 and T2000 with high-end sleepers, with list prices more than $150,000. (OOIDA is telling its members to keep in mind that manufacturers substantially discount their list prices for their dealers.) The rebate cannot be combined with any other Kenworth rebate offer.
To get the rebate, OOIDA members negotiate their best price with the dealer, and present their membership card at the time of the truck purchase. The member submits confirmation of the truck purchase to OOIDA, which verifies the membership and submits all the documentation to Kenworth, which in turn sends the member a $1,000 check.
According to the association, this is the first time Kenworth has offered a rebate to members of a professional trucking association as opposed to a major fleet.
