The Young Truck Sales dealership in Canton, Ohio, has increased its service capabilities with an expansion that includes a dedicated facility for servicing natural gas vehicles. The facility now includes 30 service bays, an $800,000 parts inventory, and a separate on-site building dedicated to natural gas vehicles.
Young Truck Sales invested $4 million in the expansion. It is located on Shepler Road near Interstate 77 in Canton.
“I am greatly impressed by the expansion of Young Truck Sales and the increased level of service and support they will provide to Volvo customers,” said Goran Nyberg, president of sales and marketing at Volvo Trucks North America.
The expansion added 16 new service bays, including eight that are part of the natural gas facility. The service facility is now certified for natural gas, cryogenic gases, diesel, and gasoline.
“We are proud to start our 60th year by unveiling our renovated and expanded Volvo dealership location,” said Craig Young, president of Young Truck Sales. “We feel that having the service and repair support for our customers adopting natural gas power will be an integral part of us fulfilling our commitment.”
The facility is open Monday through Saturday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Once a second shift is added in January, it will be open Sundays as well.
