Trucking technology provider ObjectFX, Minneapolis, Minn., has named Mark R. Myers vice president of marketing.
Myers comes to ObjectFX from Convera Technologies Inc., where he held a number of management positions during eight years with the company and most recently served as vice president of strategic alliances. At ObjectFX, Myers will have responsibility for all marketing and product management activities.

"Spatial technologies have traditionally been applied in government applications, as well as in select vertical industry applications. Today we have a tremendous opportunity to re-define this market and to integrate spatial technologies into a much wider range of business processes and decision-making activities across industries. ObjectFX is aggressively pursuing this goal and I am delighted to be a part of this effort,” said Myers.
Myers received a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron, and pursued graduate studies in management and technology at American University.
ObjectFX provides an innovative, Java enterprise software platform that enables the integration of dynamic location-based services such as mapping, vehicle routing, address geocoding and other spatial operations into enterprise applications.
