Oakley Transportation Names New Safety Director
Oakley Transportation Group has named Kelly L. McDowell its new Director of Safety and Compliance. He will be charged with integrating safety programs within every section of the company.

Oakley Transportation Group has named Kelly L. McDowell its new Director of Safety and Compliance. He will be charged with integrating safety programs within every section of the company.
McDowell is a certified director of safety, via the North American Transportation Management Institute, and he has 15 years of fleet safety experience. McDowell plans to create "a culture of safety" in the company by monitoring, teaching and coaching safe-driving principles while enforcing requirements from the Department of Transportation and OSHA.
“The addition of Kelly to our executive team reaffirms our commitment to operating our company safely which is our promise to employees, customers and the public,” said Tommy Oakley, Sr., CEO of Oakley Transport. “He’s a valuable addition to our team and we’re thrilled to have him on board.”
Oakley Transportation Group serves the liquid bulk food and citrus transportation industries in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The Florida-based company operates 350 trucks and 550 tank trailers moving cargo like distilled spirits, juices, milk, cooking oils, and sweeteners.
