Nuss Truck & Equipment Appoints New VPs

Nuss Truck Group, which operates seven heavy‐duty truck and construction equipment dealerships in the upper Midwest, announced the promotions of Brian Nuss to vice president, truck sales and leasing; Phil Watkins to vice president, customer support;
Scott Nelson to vice president, finance; and Mike Sweeney to vice president, construction equipment sales.

Brian Nuss has served as the director of truck sales and leasing and general manager of the company's Eau Claire, Wis., branch since 2010. He is responsible for all truck sales, leasing and rental activities. Previously, Nuss held management positions with Paccar and Ryder Truck Rental.

Phil Watkins has served as the director of customer support for the company since 2009. Watkins is responsible for fixed operations, including service, parts and body shop departments in all branches. Formerly, he held management positions with Waste Management Inc., Allied Systems and UPS.

Scott Nelson has served as the company's corporate controller since 1999. Prior to that, he held various positions within the accounting department. Nelson is responsible for all corporate and branch level accounting and budgetary functions. Previously, he held accounting positions with Spring Valley Specialties.

Mike Sweeney has served as the company's director of construction equipment sales since the acquisition of Sweeney Brothers Tractor of Minnesota in 2008. Sweeney is responsible for all construction equipment sales and rental activities and serves as the general manager for the
company's Burnsville operation. Prior to the acquisition, he held a similar role with Sweeney Brothers Tractor.
