NTEA Picks Up Two Diamond Awards
The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) recently won two Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Diamond Awards in the Print Newsletter and Meetings & Expositions categories
The National Truck Equipment Assn. (NTEA) recently won two Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE) Diamond Awards in the Print Newsletter and Meetings & Expositions categories.
The NTEA’s newsletter, Truck Equipment News, was named best association newsletter based on achievement of objectives. These included brevity and timeliness of content; effectiveness of writing, format and graphic design (including use of photography and/or illustration); and variety.
The Meetings & Expositions category honors excellence in marketing an association meeting, convention and/or exposition. The NTEA Annual Convention and The Work Truck Show was judged on achievement of objectives, effectiveness of marketing strategies, attendance and revenue goals, and overall success of the event.
"It is indeed a great honor to be recognized by our association industry peers. Winning two MSAE Diamond Awards is a very significant accomplishment," said NTEA Executive Director Jim Carney.
The NTEA was established in 1964 and currently represents nearly 1,500 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories.
Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to the association. The NTEA provides in-depth technical information, education and money-saving opportunities through its member programs, publications, services and sponsorship of The Work Truck Show. The association maintains its administrative headquarters in suburban Detroit and a government relations office in Washington, D.C.
