NTEA Names New Board of Trustees
The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) announced the election of five new members to its board of trustees.
The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) has announced the election of four new members to the NTEA board of trustees. The new trustees were installed to three-year terms at the 42nd Annual NTEA Convention
(Feb. 28–March 3, 2006) held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2006 in Atlanta, Ga.
Three distributor trustees were elected: Michael Anderson, vice president of Semi Service Inc. (Salt Lake City, Utah); Spencer Hinson, president of Lodi Equipment (West Sacramento, Calif.); and Michael Moxley, executive vice president of Moxley Truck Equipment Div., Moxley’s Welding & Machine Service Inc. (Street, Md). One manufacturer trustee was elected: Andrew L. Outcalt, president of Meyer Products LLC and of Swenson Spreader LLC (Cleveland, Ohio).
Also serving on the 2006–2007 board are executive committee members: President Robert S. Green, president of Robert Green Truck Div. Inc. (Rock Hill, N.Y.); First Vice President Tom Rawson, CEO of RKI Inc., (Houston, Texas); Second Vice President Jim Kraschinsky, president of Stahl/Scott Fetzer Co. (Wooster, Ohio); Third Vice President/Treasurer Dennis Jones, vice president of sales and marketing for Auto Truck Group (Roanoke, Ind.); and NTEA Executive Director and Secretary Jim Carney.
Serving alongside executive committee members are distributor trustees Trip Forman, president of Pick Up Pals Inc. (Lubbock, Texas); Chuck Kimmel, president of Allied Truck Equipment (Grand Rapids, Mich.); and J. Scott Rainey, executive vice president of Fallsway Equipment Co. Inc. (Akron, Ohio); and manufacturer trustees Allen Birmingham, national sales manager of Tommy Gate Co. (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Mark Boice, president of Warner Bodies (Noblesville, Ind.).
Established in 1964, the NTEA is the leading association supporting the $98.3-billion work truck and trailer industry. The association represents nearly 1,600 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to the association.
