The National Transportation Exchange, Inc. has formed a strategic partnership with RightFreight.com, an Internet-based exchange for the air freight and logistics industries.
NTE electronically matches shippers and carriers for more efficient, point-to-point ground
transportation. The partnership is designed to create a seamless end-to-end logistics platform
for shipments worldwide.
Both RightFreight.com and NTE use the Internet to create member-based real-time exchanges where shippers, third-party logistics providers and carriers can communicate with each other in an efficient manner. RightFreight.com is a large global airfreight service exchange, offering a real-time marketplace for the buying and selling of cargo space on flights around the world.
Together, they hope to offer the ability to ship the right freight to the right location at the right time for the right price, taking care of everything from the pick-up and delivery process to the
international documentation and compliance.
