The National Trailer Dealers Association has tapped Gwendolyn Kay Brown as its new executive director.
The move is part of a transition, which started in January 2010, from current management by the National Truck Equipment Association.

"We believe our organization has grown to a level that makes hiring a full-time executive director possible," said Holly Hale, president of NTDA. "Most importantly, we are confident having our own executive director will further enhance the experience of our members."

Brown spent nearly nine years acting as communications director for the NTEA, which included serving as the NTDA's communications director. She has been honored more than a dozen times for her published works and for outstanding advertising and marketing campaigns.

The NTDA will complete its transition from current management by the NTEA on May 31, 2010.

"The NTEA served the NTDA well over the past several years, and we appreciate the excellent services and support they have provided," said Hale.
