NPTC Sets Annual Conference for April 24-26 in Pittsburgh

The National Private Truck Council announced Monday it will hold its annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition in Pittsburgh, Pa.,
April 24 - 26, at the Westin Hotel and David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
NPTC 2005 will feature two well-known speakers. Ross Shafer, six-time Emmy Award-winning comedian, TV producer and motivator, will be the keynote speaker at the Kick-Off Brunch on Sunday, April 24.
On Tuesday morning, April 26, 17-year NFL veteran and noted commentator Ron Jaworski will address the conference.
NPTC 2005 will offer more than 20 educational workshops presented by experts and leaders in their respective fields. Five educational tracks -- safety and compliance, equipment and maintenance, finance, human resources/professional development and operations -- will be included with an emphasis on safety related issues. A three-part series on accident investigation will highlight the safety track.
An exhibition featuring the latest and most innovative products of some 100 companies is another component of NPTC 2005. Other activities include the Driver Hall of Fame Induction, CTP Graduation, Women in Transportation Networking Reception and graphic and safety award ceremonies recognizing the leaders of the private fleet community.
