The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) recently elected Kevin Connors, David Ellis, Harry Haney, John Hinton, David LaPalomento, Greg Mathein, Bruce Perkins, Charles Rottmund, Ron
Tartt, Gary L. Strausbaugh, Greg Whisenant, and Teryl Woods to serve on the board of directors.
The following were elected to two-year terms:
* Harry J. Haney, III of Kraft Foods, Inc. as chairman
* Ron D. Tartt, of Bridgestone Firestone North American Tire, LLC as vice chair/chair elect
* Kevin Connors, of ConAgra Foods Inc. representing the Medium & Light Duty Division
* David R. Ellis of J.J. Keller & Associates Inc. as the National Advisory Board Allied Representative
* John Hinton of Harris Teeter Inc. representing the Heavy Duty Division
* David T. LaPalomento of International Truck and Engine Corp. representing the Allied Large Volume Supplier Division
