Northwood University has announced it will deliver a fully accredited undergraduate Aftermarket Management degree program online. The completion of the program leads to a Bachelor of Business Administration
(BBA) degree from Northwood University.
“This is a complete degree program for aftermarket industry participants who have successful career experience, but lack the formal business education that would help advance their career,” said Northwood President Dr. David Fry.
Jim John, chair of Aftermarket Management, said the new program is designed to meet several aftermarket industry objectives:
• Provides a tool for aftermarket employers to attract career-oriented employees
• Improves employee retention
• Helps current aftermarket employees enhance their overall business, financial, marketing and management skills
The program integrates practical aftermarket education with a recognized and fully accredited college degree program and focused college degree opportunity.
Enrollment for this program has just begun, with the first group of students starting classes in January 2007. Approximately 30-50 students will be in the pilot program. This program is designed for people who have both work and family commitments.
Northwood University is a private, nonprofit, accredited university specializing in managerial and entrepreneurial education offering two- and four-year degrees in a variety of enterprise fields.
