Noregon’s Diagnostic Framework Software Reduces Costs and Speeds Development Time for Component Makers
Noregon Systems, Winston-Salem, N.C. has introduced the Noregon Diagnostic Framework, a set of software building blocks that enables Noregon to create customized diagnostic applications at an affordable price

Noregon has used their proprietary .NET Diagnostics Toolkit along with the latest Microsoft Windows application development technologies such as Visual Studio .NET and XML to reduce the time and cost required to build a diagnostic application suited to a single electronic component or a family of components.
“We are pleased to offer our customers a fast and affordable means of building diagnostic applications that meet their specific needs," said Bill Hathaway, president of Noregon Systems. “This solution gives us the ability to help any supplier improve their diagnostic capabilities and ultimately increase their level of service to end users.”
The Diagnostic Framework offers Noregon's customers advantages over traditional custom application development including:
* Base functionality includes all features typical for North American component diagnostics applications.
* Proprietary message builder and runtime message decoder system allows Noregon to add proprietary messages and protocols.
* Reusable, common software components increase application stability and reliability and reduce time to market.
* Provides the benefit of custom diagnostic features without the time and expense required to create a custom diagnostic application.
* Easily expandable and updateable as the customer's electronic components change or new components are added to the product line
