Noregon Adds Component Diagnostics to JPRO Software Line
Noregon Systems Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., has expanded its family of J-PRO software products

The most recent addition includes the company’s component diagnostic software application, which will now be branded as Noregon J-PRO Component Diagnostics. This is the first in a series of JPRO innovations to be released this year.
Noregon J-PRO Component Diagnostics is a software application that gives companies a fast and affordable solution for maintaining an electronically controlled component or a family of components. The application supports a wide range of transportation industry segments including on-highway trucking, construction, material handling, agriculture, military, rail, transit and more.
“As more companies introduce electronically controlled components (ECU/ECM) in the transportation industry, there is a growing need for the rapid deployment of a simple diagnostic solution to support these components in the marketplace," said Bill Hathaway, president of Noregon Systems. “Traditional, build from scratch software development of diagnostics tools is time-consuming, requires specialized expertise and ties up valuable technical resources. With the Noregon Component Diagnostics™ solution, a customer provides us with the communication protocols they want to use, relevant diagnostic messages and their graphics. We use this information to configure the application and provide a tool tailored to their needs in a matter of weeks.”
