Nexiq Debuts Pro-Link Graphiq
Nexiq Technologies, Auburn Hills, Mich., a unit of Snap-On Inc., has introduced the Pro-Link Graphiq system , a new handheld scan tool that makes interpreting diagnostics clear and accessible

The new unit builds upon the Pro-Link Plus system –- a scan tool widely used in the heavy duty industry -- and supports more than 50 manufacturer specific applications, while adding informative graphing capabilities and a color display.
The Pro-Link Graphic scan tool tests a variety of electronic control systems, diesel engines, transmissions, brakes and instrument panels. Using additional applications, the scan tool provides factory-level diagnostic information including on-screen trouble code definitions, OEM data parameters, advanced functional tests and reprogramming capabilities. Data can be graphed in real-time to help pinpoint challenging intermittent problems. Diagnostic tests are administered through easy-to-navigate menus and message screens. A built-in flight recorder collects data and provides a diagnostic snapshot during test-drives for later review.
The Pro-Link Graphiq model offers a large, adjustable backlit LCD display bright enough to view data in dim light or direct sunlight. The unit graphs up to four data parameters to show relationships and trends over time to isolate reoccurring and potential problems. Users can also view up to eight parameters in text mode with Enhanced Pro-Link Graphiq software that covers Allison, Bendix, Dana/Eaton, International, Mack, Meritor, Volvo and ZF Meritor systems.
The unit is compatible with existing Pro-Link Multi-Protocol Cartridges and previous Pro-Link software titles, including applications for Caterpillar and International engine systems, Detroit Diesel marine systems, Hino injection pumps, Kelsey-Hayes Automatic Braking systems, Mack Truck V-Mac II, Volvo VED 12 systems, OBDII for GM, Ford and Chrysler automotive and others.
The Pro-Link Graphiq system is available individually and in kits that contain the scan tool hardware and manufacturer -- and application-specific software.
