MicroAnalytics Inc. of Virginia is introducing two new interfaces for the TruckStops Routing and Scheduling Software.
The new TruckStops/EZ-Locate interface is an add-on tool that offers the ability to geocode (obtain X/Y or latitude/longitude coordinates) using TeleAtlas North America's EZ-Locate functionality through a seamless interface within TruckStops.
The interface will allow the TruckStops user to geocode batch or individual records with only a few clicks of the mouse, enabling access to one of the most precise geocoding available, quickly and easily, without leaving the TruckStops user interface.
Users are also able to access EZ-Locate account information and can link directly to TeleAtlas' site, www.geocode.com, to purchase additional geocodes.
Tele Atlas North America, a leading supplier of geographic databases with street level coverage, created and maintains the EZ-Locate application. The new EZ-Locate interface in will allow TruckStops users seamless access to this premier geocoding source.
There is also a new user interface within the TruckStops Routing and Scheduling Software. The current user interface allows a user to navigate through the software using menu systems and shortcut keys, the standard navigation tools. The new interface will still offer those options, plus the ability to navigate using customizable tool bars.
These tool bars offer many features including the ability to display using icons and/or text, hide the tool bars or display them anywhere on the screen, and users can save their settings. These new tool bars will allow users to navigate more quickly and easily through the software, making the software even more user-friendly.
