Williams TravelCenters, Tulsa, Okla., has a new president: Ike Mefford.
He replaces James Alligood, who left Williams to become president and CEO of Mapco Express, which Williams sold to an Israeli company earlier this month.
Mefford has been with Williams TravelCenters for seven years. He previously was vice president of operations. Before this, he worked as vice president of marketing for Thermogas, a propane distribution company which then was operated by Mapco.
Additionally, Joe Hills was named vice president of travel center operations and marketing; Eugene Rigsby was named vice president of commercial fuel sales; and Mark Ball was named vice president of real estate, construction and strategic planning. Gwen Root will manage accounting, Dennis Sperrazza will manage information technology and Steve Romberg will manage human resources.
