Quality Distribution Inc. has named Randall T. Strutz as president of its wholly owned subsidiary Quality Carriers Inc. Quality Carriers is the primary operating unit within the company's chemical logistics business.


Strutz, who joined Quality in April 2010 as senior vice president of sales, has more than 22 years experience in transportation and logistics. Prior to joining Quality, Strutz was CEO of Morgan Systems Inc.

Prior to that, he was at Pacer International for six years where he held various responsibilities such as the chief commercial officer, as well as the president of rail brokerage and chief operating officer. Strutz has also held key management positions in operations and logistics at Thomson, S.A., a multinational consumer products manufacturer.
