The new aerodynamic and highly efficient Kenworth T660 model is attracting considerable customer interest as Kenworth begins accepting orders for customer delivery with 2007 EPA-compliant engines.

“Kenworth has a long tradition of delivering successful and effective product solutions to customers,” said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president. “As customers make their buy decisions for 2007 and diesel prices remain high, the new Kenworth T660 provides the latest fuel-economy solution while offering a reliable, quality product with low operating cost, advanced technology, outstanding driver comfort and high resale value.”
The Kenworth T660 is available with Kenworth’s 86-inch AeroCab and 72-inch AeroCab AeroDyne sleepers.
The Kenworth T660’s striking visual features include modern aerodynamic styling and advanced forward-lighting system. New halogen projector low beams and an optional High Intensity Discharge configuration provide 40 percent and 70 percent more light down the road, respectively, than sealed beam lamps.
Inside, the Kenworth T660’s advanced technology includes the Kenworth GPS Navigation System, standard with the Kenworth Diamond cab interior and optional on the Splendor cab interior, and an enhanced multiplexed electrical instrumentation system. A new driver’s display offers real-time fuel economy, an ignition timer, on-board diagnostics, a gear display, vehicle system configuration reporting, and even an electronic alarm clock.
And for driver comfort, a new innovation allows the armrests of Kenworth’s new proprietary seats to be folded away behind the seat to provide four more inches of sleeper access between driver and passenger seats.
