The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA), Greenbelt, Md., has a new product which tracks and evaluates trends over an extended time span.
Called the Five-Year Data File of Industry Activity, it’s a tool for analyzing the last 60 continuous months of data used to compile each quarterly issue of Intermodal Market Trends & Statistics.
The new statistical product streamlines data extraction and manipulation for analyses and data point determinations. Data segmentation is provided in Microsoft Excel files so analysts can integrate the information with their business processes and chart or graph individual data fields for investment planning.
The report provides important rail statistics including movements by equipment size, key corridor activity, traffic flows between regions (including Canada and Mexico), detailed information on select key corridor lanes and movements segmented by various equipment types, sizes and ownership. Comparisons of prior months’ and prior years’ activities are also measured.
Price tag for this new analysis tool is $2,500 for current Intermodal Market Trends & Statistics subscribers; $3,750 for IANA members; and $5,000 for nonmembers.
