Navistar Will Provide Employees an Education in Ethics
Navistar International Corp. and LRN, the provider of online legal, compliance and ethics education, announced a multiyear agreemen

to provide the Navistar workforce a legal and ethics awareness education program through the LRN Legal Compliance and Ethics Center.
"Our success has been built on core values which include acting with integrity by being open, honest and ethical in all of our dealings with customers, suppliers and coworkers. This is especially important when people are confronted by difficult issues," said Steven Covey, senior vice president and general counsel, Navistar International Corp. "The LRN education program will help augment our existing efforts to keep the company aligned with its core values."
Navistar joins Disney, Dow Chemical, DuPont, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, Raytheon and a growing number of companies that have embraced the LRN enterprise-wide education, communication and culture-reinforcing solution. LRN will provide Navistar with a diverse curriculum and communication system, including a custom online course created from the company's code of ethics. Additional versions of key courses will be created with localized language translations in Spanish, Portuguese and French-Canadian for Navistar employees working outside the United States.
"Navistar insists all employees understand and internalize the core values that underpin everything the company does," commented Dov Seidman, chairman and CEO of LRN. "We look forward to helping reinforce Navistar's culture of probity through education on crucial legal, compliance and ethical issues employees inevitably encounter in the course of their day-to-day responsibilities."
The LRN Legal Compliance and Ethics Center enables employees to wrestle with ethical dilemmas they can encounter on the job, and helps them learn how to identify, evaluate and resolve legal and compliance risks. Workers become practiced "ethical athletes" adept at navigating the gray areas that inevitably arise in the course of business. Over time, better decisions, more appropriate actions and higher standards of employee conduct and integrity help reinforce corporate reputation.
