NationaLease Sets Theme For Annual Meeting As 'Together Toward Tomorrow'
NationaLease, a full service truck leasing company, has set the theme for its Annual Meeting as "Together Toward Tomorrow," during which independent truck leasing organizations will share ideas and experiences and prepare their businesses for the future

Dan Baker, often called the "senior statesman of driver issues" in the transportation industry, is the keynote speaker at NationaLease's 66th Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The meeting is scheduled for Sept. 12 to 13 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago, where the company was founded 66 years ago.
NationaLease has tapped Dan Baker as the keynote speaker for the event. Baker is a well-know speaker, teacher, and consultant to the trucking industry whose message is the "people side of trucking." He has been involved with the trucking industry since the early '80s, dedicating his time and efforts toward helping truckers make sense of their complex works.
James P. Meil, chief economist with Eaton Corporation, will also speak. He has been recognized as a leading industrial sector economist for more than 20 years, securing a place on the Wall Street Journal's panel of top 50 forecasters and USA Today's "Top 10 Economic Forecasters."
The event will also feature a presentation by Dr. Barry Asmus, a senior economist for the National Center for Policy Analysis and professor of economics. He speaks all over the world on topics that include the income tax system, Social Security, and public policy decisions.
William J. Bosco, Jr., a consultant specializing in the truck leasing industry, will speak at the event. With extensive experience in accounting, pricing, and training, Bosco will cover the Lease Accounting Project concerning finance leases and operating leases and how it will impact the lessee customers and lessors. Bosco has served on the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association for more than 20 years, 10 of those years as chairman.
