The award was given at MSC's 2004 MSC Virtual Product Development Conference held in Huntington Beach, Calif.
"This award is given to ArvinMeritor for its outstanding leadership in advancing the implementation of virtual product development tools and processes to improve product performance in the automotive industry," said Frank Perna, chairman and CEO of MSC.Software. "ArvinMeritor in recent years has gained a great reputation on its vehicle dynamics and system-level durability simulation and analysis capability through its industry involvement, customer technical support and its initiatives that drive its
product development process."
The two-day MSC.Software conference was attended by more than 650 engineers,
managers, directors and company executives from more than 70 U.S. and foreign companies. Awards were given to 18 companies in three categories.
