Guaraguao Truck Sales, Bayamón, Puerto Rico, will serve as the authorized sales and service dealer for Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty work trucks.
The Puerto-Rico based dealer will be responsible for the full line of Mitsubishi Fuso commercial trucks, including its Class 3 through Class 5 FE and FG models, as well as its Class 6 and Class 7 FK and FM models. Powered by fuel-injected, turbocharged diesel engines with automatic transmissions, the trucks come standard with MFTA's exclusive five-year/175,000-mile warranty on FE/FG models or five-year/250,000-mile warranty on FK/FM models.
"We're really looking forward to our move into the Puerto Rican market," said Mike Rumsey, vice president of sales operations for MFTA. "We've studied this move for quite some time, and we feel we've found a great partner in Guaraguao Truck Sales. They have a very competent staff, and the ability to provide after-sale service and parts support for our new Puerto Rican customers."
As with all other Mitsubishi Fuso trucks provided to the North American market, the complete low-cab-forward cab/chassis units will be built by Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corp. in Kawasaki, Japan, and distributed to Guaraguao Truck Sales through MFTA.
